Pets On The Run has cared for pets across the same local communities since 1998. In 2016, Rex and Emma took over the business and began its next chapter — carrying forward the personal service and neighbourhood relationships that have always defined it.
It's personally led, not a franchise or an anonymous app. When you get in touch, you're dealing with a local family business that has stayed close to the same streets, the same beaches and the same dogs for years.

Do you take casual one-off bookings, or only regular clients?
Both. Plenty of clients book a single feed visit or beach day; plenty more have a standing weekly walk. Start however suits you — casual visits often turn into regular routines once your pet decides we're their new best friend.
Which areas do you cover?
We're local and independent, so coverage depends on where you are. Tell us your suburb when you get in touch and we'll confirm straight away — and if we can't reach you, we'll say so honestly rather than overpromise.
How does booking work?
Get in touch by phone or email, or register through the client portal. We'll arrange a free meet & greet so your pet can size us up, then bookings run through the portal — casual or recurring, and easy to adjust.
What happens at a meet & greet?
We come to you, meet your pet on their own turf, and go through their routine, quirks, and what you need. No obligation — it's as much for your pet to approve us as for you.
My dog is older / nervous / has special needs. Can you still help?
Usually, yes. Walks and visits are matched to each pet's pace and comfort, not a one-size-fits-all route. Tell us what your pet needs — including any medication routines — and we'll talk through it honestly at the meet & greet.
